For more than a decade, Studybugs has been supporting schools, trusts and local authorities across the UK, helping you improve school attendance, strengthen safeguarding and reduce the admin burden on staff. But behind the scenes, something bigger has been happening.

What began 11 years ago as a simple illness-tracking app has grown into a powerful multi-agency platform for children’s welfare. As we’ve grown, so has our ambition. But we realised our appearance no longer matched the scale of our mission.

Our refreshed mission marks an important evolution. We’re still deeply committed to helping schools keep children happy, healthy and in school, but our work now reaches far wider.

This new mission demonstrates our commitment to supporting wider communities, working with local authorities, alternative provisions, police forces and the NHS to support not only schoolchildren, but all children.

It’s bold, it’s ambitious and it’s what our communities need.

A new logo. New colours. A new mission. We’ve developed a fresher, more confident identity that expresses our commitment to children’s welfare and our belief in what’s possible when organisations work together.

But rest assured – underneath, we’re still the same friendly, dedicated Studybugs you know. We’re now just a little sharper and ready for what comes next.

For the many organisations that use Studybugs, you’ll start to see our new identity in the staff portal and everywhere else you interact with us. Your portal will feel more modern, more vibrant and more aligned with the importance of the work you do every day.

But there’s no change to how Studybugs works. No new features to learn. No new processes to remember. Everything will remain exactly where you expect it – just with a fresh coat of energy and purpose.
